Installing the Tracker Software Products PDF-XChange printer driver

The report .pdf driver is used to print estimate and repair order reports in a format which can be sent over the internet, easily displayed and then printed.

To install the report .pdf printer driver: 

1.    Double click the FixAuto.exe icon, which was placed on your desktop when you installed Web-CMS.

2.    When the first screen displays, select Open it, and then click OK.

3.    Click Next.

The Choose Destination Location window displays.

4.    Click Next (or change the folder where you want the files installed).

The Select Components window displays.

5.    Click Next.

The Start Installation window displays.

6.    Click Next.

A confirmation message displays.

7.    Click OK.

The Password window displays.

8.    Type FIXAUTO and click OK.

9.    When the License Agreement window displays, choose the Close command from the File menu.

The Installation Complete window displays.

10.  Click Finish.

11.  When the installation completes, click Start, point to Settings, and select Printers.

12.  Click the right mouse button on PDF-Xchange and choose Properties.

13.  Click the Page Setup tab, and select Letter/ANSI A from the Standard page size drop-down.

14.  Click the Compression tab, and then click the Compress Text checkbox.

15.  Click the Embedding tab, and uncheck Embed All Used Fonts.

16.  Click the Finish tab, and uncheck Run Application After Printing.

17.  Click OK.

The installation of the report .pdf printer driver is complete.
