Web-CMS Tour

This section reviews the Web-CMS interface, including the options available, data entry requirements, and how to use the automated wizards to speed the entry and upload of estimate and repair order information.

Home Page

The home page displays each time you login to Web-CMS or complete key tasks within the application. The home page contains the Menu Bar of task options and your daily appointment list.

Menu Bar

The menu bar displays at the top of the home page and other Web-CMS pages. It contains hyperlinks to the tasks you can perform while working with Web-CMS.

Configure Schedule – View and configure the shop’s daily, weekly or monthly personal calendar.

Claim Queue – View claim status ("dirty claims" and/or "diary" date claims) by insurance company, claim status, process, and file handler.

CMS Admin – Setup a shop assignment recipient or add reasons for closing an estimate.

Data Entry Requirements

As a general rule of thumb, the more information you can enter, the better. There are, however, required fields on Web-CMS data entry forms. These fields are displayed in red. If you do not enter a required field, Web-CMS will not let you proceed to another page and will display a message informing you of the field which you forgot to enter.

Using the Wizards

Web-CMS provides you with an estimate, repair order entry, and total loss wizard, which walks you, step by step, through the data entry process. When running a wizard, enter the required information on the displayed form, and the next form in the process is automatically displayed. Wizards make accurate completion of estimate and repair order data entry very easy.

Menu Options

The options that display on the left hand side menu of Web-CMS windows are based on your user ID (for example, Corporate Claims Representatives will have different options than Estimators) and the current state of the Estimate or Repair Order. Only those options applicable at the current time will be available for selection.
