Periodically, you may need to resend an assignment email notification to the shop, the insurance company, or another recipient.
To resend an email notification:
1. Click the Repair Order Event Log option from the side menu bar to display the event log.
2. Select the email notification that you want to send by clicking on the applicable Description link.
A new Event Log window displays.
· To resend the email to the same recipient, click R at the top of the window. After sending the email, Sent will display next to the R.
· To forward the email notification to a different recipient, click N. The window expands to display recipient email entry fields.
3. Enter the recipient email address in the To: field.
· To send a copy of the email to the Inside Adjuster, click the checkbox.
· To send a copy of the email to Other Insurance Contacts, select them from the scroll box (hold down the Ctrl key to select multiple recipients).
· To send a copy of the email to additional Shop Contacts, select them from the scroll box (hold down the Ctrl key to select multiple recipients).
4. Update the Subject, as desired.
5. To attach a Link to the claim in CMS, click its checkbox.
6. Enter any message you want to attach to the email.
7. Click Send Email. After sending the email, the Event Detail page redisplays and Sent displays next to the N.
8. To close the Event Detail page, click the X in the upper right hand corner.
NOTE: You can send an email BEFORE an estimate is uploaded in case you need to contact the insurance company or independent adjuster before hand using this procedure.
